Need help on the below question.

Name the part of the plant that be can be eaten -
      a) water chestnut :
      Hi,

In primary science, students learnt that excess food is stored in different parts of plant. They are root, stem, flower and fruit.

The food in water chestnut is stored in the stem.

      Best wishes

Another \"proof\" that the tiny food carrying phloem tubes are bi-directional.

                Hi

You may find out more about laser light in this link.
                http://science.howstuffworks.com/laser4.htm

You may also wish to check with your child’s teacher if it is in the science syllabus.

                Best wishes.

Hi, would appreciate help on this past year PSLE question.

The freezing point and boiling point of substance X is 40 degree celcius and 180 degree celcius respectively. What is the correct state of substance X at 30 degree celcius & 200 degree celcius?

The answer is liquid & gas.

Shouldn’t it be solid and gas instead?

                    Thanks

                      40 < < 180

We take freezing point the same as melting point.
(Is there a chance or case where the freezing point different from melting point ?)

At 30C, it should be a solid.
At 200C, it should be a gas.

I think she meant the water chestnut (the ones that we eat) is what part of the plant. It should be stem right? Like carrot is the root of the plant.
