Twinkle! Congrats on your virgin bread...Lovely!!! Yes, yellow is due to the butter. I must remind myself not to confuse twinkle and tweety... kekeke Olive spread is not as yellow. Your crust looks very brown too....is this regular or extra bake time?

it was indeed yummy..for a virgin baker like me πŸ˜‰
we were so excited during the baking process..peeping into the viewing window every 10 mins...
now I know how happy mama felt when she made her virgin bread last week :hi5:
I bought serevin at courts, cost is $198. additional 5% disc if pay by amex...so i paid $188.10 for this. model is 3989..I think so...will confirm it tonight when I get home and will take pictures.
it has JAM function too
can make pizza dough, cake, dough, cookies, jam and bread..
what a multi-funciton cute little kitchen toy!
          I'm loving it

                thanks ksi :hi5: :thankyou:

I find the taste acceptable..not too sweet, not too salty..for me, it's perfect! texture is fluffy, moist and warm when eaten last night. this morning, the adrable half loaf is still soft and fluffy. phew! πŸ˜“

I chose medium(regular). could it be due to the delay in removing the baking tin? bcos I was putting ds to sleep and 'instructed' dh to remove baking tin when it beeped. but he didn't follow instruction wor
so I suspected this is the reason.

Yes yes.....when you leave it in longer, the crust becomes more brown and it depends on individual taste... I actually like the crust brown and crispy for direct consumption. For making sandwiches I prefer it less brown so I can use the whole bread without wastage.
