May i know how much is the school fees?
Hi Cassmania
The fees per month is $350 but if you pay on term basis, it is at a 'discounted' rate of $990. -
any feedbacks on serangoon, bukit timah and thomson outlet?
these 3 outlet is nearest to me.

My DD attends the Bukit Timah outlet (their headquaters) once a week. I must say the programme is quite good. She was promoted to a level higher after 6 months. She couldn't read when I started her at age 4 but after 3 months, she could start blending and pronouncing 3 letterwords. Now at age 5, she reads by herself and has started on comprehension. Her teacher says she's doing well. She's had 2 teachers so far and they are both good. I must say that quite a few of them are from the Phil but no worries with the accent and all....they speak very well and are all very friendly.
I plan to start my second DD when she turns 3.

anyone noes if can use CDA to deduct school fees? -
My elder one graduated from ZP JW last year and my second one still in K1. Both of them started in JW branch at the age of 2+, from weekend class to daily class eventually. I have seen both of them progress with the school and I would say they have good teachers and a sound curriculum.
In nursery classes, the emphasis is on phonics, reading (english and chinese) and element of fun and play are injected in the learning process, including science, maths and general knowledge.
In Kindi level, the school starts to gear the students towards the mainstream school expectations. This include spelling, sentences writing, word blending, hanyu pin yin, maths concept, plus science/general knowledge.
I would say it is a balance between being academic and learning through play/exploration/creativity.
CDA cannot be use for ZP, unfortunately.usagibb:

Thanks so much for the feedback...at least i got better idea of the school -
Hi my elder son started K1 last year in zoo phonics. Before joining the class, they did a phonics test with him to decide if he needs extra coaching. So he has to take 6 extra classes before K1 term1. By K1 term2, i have seen much improvement in his phonics and he autocorrect us too…
At end of K1, his teacher has seen vast improvement in him. As parents, we can see what kind of things teacher teaches in class as there is a folder brought back every friday full of worksheets.
Do note that this school does not follow the normal school holidays…Only 3 weeks of school holidays per year if u opt in for holiday programs. -
