DD down with stomach flu. Stomach ache n Vomiting. On MC tomorrow. Next day is PSLE Listening comphre. Nerve breaking moments for me and DD now. Hope everything goes well.

Haze was bad last week…and he was unwell. I had runny/blocked nose and watery eyes.
Now I am thinking of soup in a bowl, Ritz mango strudel and chicken pie. Yum Yum. -

I usually swallow one clove of chopped garlic for stomach flu. For my son, I steep 3 cloves in 150 ml water and let him sip a tablespoon every 10 minutes. Clears ours up real quick. Drink more. All the best. -

Ok thanks. Something new to me though. Is it raw garlic or need some boiling?isetan:

You can give him ginger water. Honey can be added to improve the taste.
My boy is also down with cold. He is having runny nose since Monday. I think it is due to insufficient sleep. -

Do we need to chop the garlic first before pouring in the hot water?
Thank you. -

Medication will make the child drowsy. Natural remedy would be better.its888me:

You can boil sweet potato dessert...put ginger in to help him relieve the itchy throat.
