go downstair and check whether your neighbour is at home before taking shower or go toilet lor...

yup..just read today paper about this news...those PRC cant take in the smell of their neighbour (Indian) curry..then they expect ppl can tolerate their joss stick smell and burning praying paper with ash flying around.... :siao:

I’m really surprised that this issue had to be resolved by mediation! My neighbors upstairs regularly bounce balls on their floor in the evenings. But I leave them be. I have neighbors who smoke at their windows and the cigarette smoke will enter our homes. But we don’t kick up a fuss. I’m sure my neighbors will have something to say about us too. But they haven’t complained. We live in such close proximity. Even the most considerate neighbor will inadvertently annoy his neighbor. If we’re going to pursue every small irritation, we will be miserable people!

my next door neighbour likes to fry fish....the smell will come into my toilets, kitchen and even bedroom (if door not closed). liddat can complain?? (smell too nice...make me hungry).

sorry, just having some :siao: time. I'll just do MY part and close the windows if not happy about the smell....else, I will just go out and jalan . case closed.

have been so used to the different cooking smells that such disputes seem weird & trivial .. cannot imagine having the Indian family stop their cooking when they are in town ...... so much for racial integration from the PRs. I am assuming they are since they can rake up such a ruckus...

I used to have a family from India who cooks curry day & night , I just closed the windows coz I couldn't smell my own cooking :rotflmao: , didn't go and :stompfeet: to demand my rights :faint:

we might ended having to put up a food list outside our door next time? :siao:

Some eat durians at home… also got smell. just go another room and close the door. The smell not that strong already.

The flat I am in now ....I have neighbours that
let the chidlren scream for 20 mins every other day
but then maybe they have problem handling the child
don't bother us at all ...... there are curry cooking,
football noise , singing , piano all sort of noise , as you said
we live so close ...live and let live ...... :celebrate:
