JRLam:
Thanks, certainly brighten up my dismal work week!
:congrats:
Did you get the notification via post?
You are the 1st one on KSP to get the good news! What a great way to end a working week, and the start of a weekend :boogie:
DS has been aiming to get into SST since P4, when he read about SST. The only problem was there was no way to \"prepare\" him. The requirements also kept changing.
He has no interest in all the other schools and felt that he would only try for Chung Cheng HS Main because the mother is an alumni there. He is more interested in programs where he can do experiments, work with gadgets and discover new things. (DS is quite a nerd)
I was very happy that he really tried his best during both the GAT and selection activity. -
My DD got her confirmed offer yesterday through snail mail.
Coming from a neighbourhood school, she has been blessed with having classmates who were living, either in neighbouring blocks, or were just a few bus stops away from each other. This greatly helped in making her primary school journey fun, since meeting classmates for project work, going to school together, all this little stuff, became fun and “within reach”.
We live in Ang Mo Kio. If any of you live around here and whose children are likely to accept SST’s offer, would be great if we could find a way to let our children have a headstart in making friends with each other. This would greatly help them ease into a new environment, I feel.
To all those still waiting for the snail to arrive, all the best. -

I've heard from year 2009 that the minimum for express is 188 ... and that was what SST mentioned when I clarified with them.
Perhaps you can clarify with them? -
