Hi Phankao,
As I was enjoying mooncakes from hong kong, I recalled there was some fund-raising event in RJC during your time 84/85 when we ordered in bulk mooncakes from hong kong wing wah/kee wah/maxim. Do u recall?

I have observed much earlier, possibly 2-3 years back, that there is a drift of top gifted maths talents to NUSH from either HCI or RI. Now, it becomes clear that HCI has been more adversely affected than RI. Is the stellar performance of RI in the various Olympiads due to its programme or that it has attracted more top psle students? I am still unsure and will be curious to know. Someone mentioned Euler’s programme in RI in a previous post. I am not surprise that RI will have such programmes as Elitist education (or special programmes designed for the best of best) is nothing new in RI. Afterall, gifted education was first only introduced in RI. HCI only join gifted education programme much later.

Yes, 1st JC1 batch at Mt Sinai....used to dash across train tracks in the morning when we hear the train sounding. If we wait, we'd probably be late for school ! Until they built that overhead bridge for us. And teachers had to stop talking each time the train went by.

We still had to go back to Grange Rd RI campus for some CCAs, I remember, and for Founders' Day.... -

What level is your DS in? P6? During DSA, we not only think about what school our DS would choose, but also the other way round! Or you can start a thread 'NUSH or HCI', like what vk2010 did for 'HCI or RI', but hope it won't turn out to be as firery as vk2010's thread!
