          E3:
Dd was told to think of 3-5 research topics for ISO. These topics are supposed to be never researched before. We've come out with 4. However, we were not sure whether they are good research topics though it took us some time to research and think of them. Anyone has any idea what are some good topics? Thanks.

I thought ISO was meant for P5?! Don't frighten us! DD now only doing the 2nd draft of the Family tree write up and Photo Journal which due on 21/2. Its to choose a few pictures that is of social or environment concern and write about it. Are we talking about the same thing?

Hi, we have P4ISO once a week, the kids are introduced to research skills and group or individualized work to discuss on research topics. I believe it's to prepare them for P5 ISO.

Same projects, family tree oral history project final writeup and reflection due on 5th March, photojournal due next Monday.

Ya, that's what I think so too when we attended the GEP booth, the P5 told us they did their ISO in P5. DS2 class had completed their 2D Family Tree, but writeup not yet. Completed Photo Journal too.

The current projects are Oral History and Photo Journal, followed by HCL common test. The impending ones are the ERP book review and all CTs in term2.

For the two sets of notes, the title is \"Individualised Research Options (ISO)\" so I assumed they are the same?

Initially, they were told to think of 2 topics, subsequent week, another teacher took over and they were told to think of 3-5 topics. For class activities, they were given topics and they were supposed to pick a topic and assign suitable titles. They can work in groups or individual.

They do not need to conduct any research on the topics yet, I guess they are only taught how to derive good topic titles.

                      Hi all kiasu parents

What a nice and appropriate name šŸ˜„
I found this website very interesting and a bit late.

My daughter got into GEP 2011.

She seems coping well now but very forgetful.
Forgets where she keep her wallet and hp etc.

                      Is she over stressed ?

She is in her new school RGPS.

                      :lovesite:

                      Cheers

If she has no problem with her work, then just give her time to adjust to the new sch. My DD in RGPS too. Which class she is in?
