er.....i dont think i will compare HTC magic which is a may2009 model against iphone 4My two cents worths.
I current own an iPhone 4 and former own an Andriod (HTC Magic). So which is better?
It depends on the needs. iPhone is a well design phone, compact, nice, powerful and easy to use. If you can choose to own a laptop, will you choose a window based laptop or Mac Air. Of course Mac Air, well design, classic and does it's job. But just like iPhone, everything about apple is all pay and pay. PC based is like andorid, everthing need not pay.
Apart for the look and functionality, Apple iPhone works because the apps are mostly paid version which means better quality of work. Android on the other hand can do everything iPhone does and sometime even better (e.g flash) at lower cost or free. Since it is free, the market is chaos. My husband is an IT guy, Andorid has a lot of cool stuff for his work and it is free where most of my apps in Apple is all about entertainments. Andorid since is \"open source\" thus many vendor and have a lot of customization where Apple is focus that is why their product are good.
I am happy with my iphone and will be upgrading to another iphone in the near feature. My husband, he still use his andorid for work, lesser game but will use my iphone to play games, (jelly bears) haha, so you know the winner is clearly apple -
i like android for their free apps, removable uSD card and good camera 8Mp… i also think is not worth to pay $100+ more for every additional 8/16/32GB of internal memory for the iphone and is not upgradable… i can easily get an 8/16/32GB at $10+, $20+ and $40+ from SL… and lastly iphone got no USB…

for me, flash support is one sore point missing from iOS. many web sites still need flash player

I just switch from apple to android…abid finger twisted initial phase…hehe…but now abit familiar jor.
Yes, I dont like being tied down by apple of the so-called internal memory…
With android, I can back up with my external SD card instead. -

If you have opened apps without closing them, instead simply pressing on the menu button, then your battery life lasts shorter. You need to double-click on the menu button, and all the apps that are still running will appear. Press on any one of the apps, hold it there until the icons start 'shaking' and a ' - ' appears at the top left hand corner of each app icon. Press on the ' - ' to close all the apps that you are not using. This help to extend iPhone battery life.

That means the battery can't last till the end of the day without charging, then what's the point?
I can imagine one day there will be phone chargers at the back of the classroom ......LOL
.
Or use the portable charger maybe? -

http://www.mophie.com/mophie-juice-pack-plus-iPhone-4-battery-case-p/1160_jpp-ip4-blk.htmI would take Android simply because I can change the battery. There is nothing worse than carrying a phone with a dead battery. All the apps in the world can't save you. With Android, I can carry a couple of fully charged spare batteries and pop it in when the current one is low.
