All About Choosing Piano Schools And Teachers
-
Ah piano lessons, a deep regret that I wasn't keen in music during my younger days. My little girl and boy just started piano classes not long. Paying $98/mth for a 45 min lesson (for my girl) and $130/mth for a 30 min lesson (for my boy) at The Ballet and Music Company. Both are taught by a personal teacher at the school - one to one session and once a week.
So far they are quite alright and still interested in the lessons, hehe. For practicing, we have the Yamaha \"Clavinova\" at home. We bought it during the Yamaha sale at a good deal. One of my friends splurged on a $8000 model and her daughter lost interest half way.
If you do not wish to invest in a piano for fear of this case, your kids can always go to music school earlier to practice. But having a piano/keyboard at home will help alot -

Anyone heard of MYC ?
-
hi you can try Verve Music School at Ang Mo Kio Centra, they have a pool of quite good teacher. Some are graduated from NAFA young pianist gifted program.
-
Just check Nafa’s gift piano course a few days ago, the course fee is very high compare to other music school. The beginning’s lesson is S$289 per month.
My daughter is attending the piano course in Christopher music school, the fee is just S$63 per month for the beginner. The teacher is good, and she plays quite good.
Who knows the difference of NAFA’s piano course from other schools? -

My daughter is taking her pianoo course in Christopher music school. The beginner's fee is S$63 per month. I choose a China piano teacher for her, and she play quite well since these 3 over month.
Heard from friends, that it's difficult to enter Nafa piano course, and it's course course fee is also quite high, S$ 290 per month.
I want to know, which is the best local piano school? Nafa, Yamaha, or Christopher... -

My daughter is currently studying in Christopher Woodland mart. The course is 30 minutes per week. But I think it's enough for my daughter.
My danghter went in the middle of march, and has completed her 2nd book, she is on the way of her 3rd book.
