Lunch
-
I've been told i could dish up a
reali mean curry dish. :nunchuk:
Shlurrgghp! -
Reading the Glorious Soup thread was just too much for the tummy to
take. Seriously. Hubs has been on long leave and he's been enticing
me to eat out the last couple of weeks... and i'm ballooning up a little.
Hubs and the kids have been saying that they all miss my cooking, so
momma's kitchen was up and about yesterday stewing their all-time
favourite : Buds' Beefy Broth.

I dunked in the all-time favourite veg of all... duh... potatoes of
course. And added in thick carrot slices for some sweetness..
sliced meat.. young corn.. and my DD1's favourite : fishballs. So,
voila!
Here's a close up!

And being the chilli padi kinda chick i always am... my personal
serving wouldn't be complete without the sambal. Featured next
is my own plate with scrumptious sambal belachan! Enjoy!

So, that was buds' family lunch! -
yummy...without sounding like an auntie, this is sliced beef? Not cubed which requires longer cooking time??!

-
Yup, sliced... ain't diced!

-
buds:
Yup, sliced... ain't diced!

your quick wit hasn't left you sista...welcome back!
And thanks. That's on my shopping list this weekend -
Hope it never will leave..

That's the sound part of being me. :hugs: -
hey buds, we always cook this (though without the fishballs) with worcestershire sauce. Is there a healthier way to cook without this worxxx sauce?
sometimes, we use chicken wing tooβ¦but must trim the fats. itβs nice if you add barley as well. -
The fishballs are meant for DD1.
Me? I have enuf balls than i can handle..
-
haha buds, you haven't lost it at all.
-
Naah, can't seem to lose the weight...
Nor the balls. Even if i really wanted to.
