MummySTay:
Hello!
How has everyone been?
It's been a while since we come here and chat!
Come to think of it, we have survived one whole term! Yay!!!
DD has been very busy with her CCAs so she is barely home before 6pm.
That's why I am so glad it's learning journey week this week...
I could actually spend some quality time with DD.
Do keep us updated on your DS/DD's progress in sec 1.
And let's continue to support one another in our children's educational journey! :snuggles:
Btw, Happy \"firefly38\"ε¦ε₯³θto all the Mummies!
Hi MummySTay,
Yes, time flies and we really managed to survive one whole term!
Think the workload is still managable as I don't see DD spend much of her time doing homework or project. DD said most of the works or project already done at the school.
Only see 1 CA2 Paper for Science and rest of the subjects seems like not exam. :?
For Match holiday, they are required to go back for their CCA!

MummySTay:
What a talented Mummy!
Wow, play guitar, dance samba (δΈε «), this \"potential MIL\" really ε€ζε€θΊ :rahrah: . Your DS' girlfriend must be :nailbite:Pen88n:
Or I can dance Samba (δΈε «) in the background, to accompany DS' singing... :boogie:
to think of measuring up to your standard :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
firefly, time to set up shop at Orchard underpass.
Can sing, dance or play guitar to collect $$$! :rubhands:
Can also drag jtoh along...for duet!
Or Pen, to play erhu as accompaniment!
vlim can do a fashion parade...in RGPS pinafore and tutu! :rotflmao:
Last but not least.. The Tay Sisters η·εε§ε¦Ή performing their famous Chopsticks Dance!!! :boogie: :boogie: -
Pen88n:
Bingo! Actually my ultimate aim is to scare away the GF (a.k.a. The Other Woman), not to show off my \"multi-talents\"...

Just saw this thread and reporting here.
DS going for his St John ambulance camp in school next week for 3 days.
They are asked to packed 5 shirts/tops, 2 set of uniforms, 2 PE attire, 5 pairs of socks , 2 pairs of track shoes, 3 burmudas/shorts and 7 underwear :yikes: :yikes:
Quite a few parents are wondering why is there a need for so much clothing -
Attended the award ceremony for NHPS PSLE 2011 today.
Seems more award winners went to HCI/NYGH compared to the Raffles family.
Top 5 students went to RI(276), NJC(273), HCI(273), NUSH(272) and NYGH(272). -

Wow top 5 went to different schools. In recent years, in some schools, top kids go to HCI and NYGH instead of Raffles family. Academic plus some non-academic reasons .... some parents prefer the HCI/NYGH cultures and Mdm Heng herself is a big draw for NYPS kids to NYGH :please:Attended the award ceremony for NHPS PSLE 2011 today.

But following release of this year's A levels results, I personally expect that more parents will urge their p6 kids to go to Raffles family. Additionally, with no transfer allowed once DSA offer is accepted, I predict that the PSLE S1 COP for RI especially to go even higher. More kids (those rejcted by RI via DSA) will reject their other sch DSA offers and bank on PSLE to get into RI. My personal predictions only trying to look into crystal glass, so pls don't flame! :pokeeye:

Snow Crystal:
The kid that went to NYGH donated half of her scholarship given by NYGH for being one of the PSLE top scorer to the primary school. Very kind of her.

Wow, overkill. DS just returned from 3 days camp, packed half of what is stated here. Don't forget slippers.
