      Hi MummySTay,

Yes, time flies and we really managed to survive one whole term!

Think the workload is still managable as I don't see DD spend much of her time doing homework or project. DD said most of the works or project already done at the school.

Only see 1 CA2 Paper for Science and rest of the subjects seems like not exam. :?

For Match holiday, they are required to go back for their CCA! šŸ˜„
      Hi Brenda,
Good to 'see' you again. :hugs:
Looks like your DD is settling down nicely in sec school. šŸ˜‚

Same same! DD's CCA training will continue as per normal this hols.
      No break at all.
Luckily, she loves her CCA so she's not complaining. Phew!

Just saw this thread and reporting here.

DS going for his St John ambulance camp in school next week for 3 days.

They are asked to packed 5 shirts/tops, 2 set of uniforms, 2 PE attire, 5 pairs of socks , 2 pairs of track shoes, 3 burmudas/shorts and 7 underwear :yikes: :yikes:

Quite a few parents are wondering why is there a need for so much clothing
Ahhh... ngbread has finally come to report!

DD will also be attending a camp next week; organized by her merit CCA, Math Society.
Haven't seen her packing list, but I doubt she has to bring as many pieces of clothing as your DS!
7 briefs for 3 days is 4 too many! :scared:

Somehow I don't think a Math Society camp will need as many change of clothes as Red Cross. No marching in the hot sun for one. šŸ˜„

Suggest your DS packed as per they suggest. They are probably engaging in some games and activities which will require the kids to be dirtied, thus the need to change clothes šŸ˜‰ .

And maybe you should consider letting DS bring some \"older\" and \"thinner\" tops (not too hot) and bottoms to the camp. Differentiate which he should wear in daytime and which he should wear in night time for sleep. In case the older tops come back in condition not fit for washing, you can throw them away without feeling too much heartache . Same goes for shoes.

The top must be school related and we counted we have exactly 5 sets of school related T shirts so he is bringing all.
Bottoms never specified so we just let him bring black colours bottom.
Some parents actually rushed down to ACSI or bibi baba to buy extra t shirts .

Oh btw heard that bibi baba has shifted to Far East Shopping Centre (Not Far East Plaza, is the one next to Liat towers)

That is a lot of clothes for a 3 day camp. So must they pack a sleeping bag too?

Yup you are correct, must bring sleeping bag too.
