why useless? a gag order means those in the know cannot reveal or tell anyone, doesn't make a difference whether where is trial or not.

even if there a trial and the woman appears, the media is not allowed to report. if you attend the trial, you are legally bound not to reveal to anyone. if the info is leaked and traced to you, you're still liable.

As for speculations/spread on the internet.. even w/o trial it is widespread already.

in other words, a trial do not undermine the effect of the gag order.
