My takes in this simple analogy…don’t flame me if you disagreed.

When i invite my guests to my home, i welcome them with basic necessity which is basic courtesy in feeling warmth in my family, provision of drinks and food. If need to sleepover, then i will provide guest room. I will provide the best i can in my own capacity…of course not go to the extend of welcoming them to my master bedroom. Of course no way will i shove my guest to a corner. That wouldn’t be right.

Today, PR already not in equal footing with SC in terms of health, education and housing. And hence i feel that is already enough. Just recently the education policy kicks in affecting PR with almost immediate effect left me with mixed feelings, especially more so towards PR who have PV. Although i am happy for SC in general but this immediate change makes me rather uncomfortable. I am a true SC but i am a mother myself. All mum wants the best for their children.

My takes and my humble opinion. This thread and also the other thread are becoming ugly to me. Why? People starts to be irresponsible with all sort of name callings, personal attacks and labelling. Is this what we are encouraging people to surface their ugliness? I thought this is a platform for CIVIL discussion and airing and sharing of views?

It is not just so simple about…as quote "everyone is entitled to their own thoughts". It is also not about keeping things under wrap and hush hush.
It is all about airing your thoughts in civil manner and to retaliate in civil manner. I really wonder do you speak to your boss like that or is it okay to speak under a cloak of anonymity.

KSP used to be better than this. I really don’t know whether is MOD reading this?

I presume everyone in the threads are \"old enuff\" to be responsible for what they wrote.

        Mod are not baby sitters..

        If too much censorship..

        might as well read 154..

So far, I feel the level is still within acceptable limits....

at least you don't see vulgarities..

The general community will keep the discussion on track..

Only when things really go out of hand.. than the baby sitter will need to emerge from the chamber and do something.......

This is our home while PR’s can always go back to their home country.

Yeh! I have many PR friends and they told me why they dont want to apply to be citizens. Why give up goodies from both countries if they can enjoy both?

Same here! Many of my Malaysian friends (PR) told me very honestlt they want to earn as much and buy HDB flats, give kids good education in spore. Once earn enough, can sell flat and get profit go back home and enjoy…
