new here and i’m one of the 48 registrants in ACJS who is perplexed by the last minute outcome. Wldnt it be an unfair balloting if really a set of twin is included as they wld definitely be in? Any way that we cld appeal for cancellation of balloting?
SMPS all 58 applicants are in. No need to ballot.

Most applicants are > 2km according to school.

        Therefore, total vacancies for Phase 2C is 9 roll over from 2B + 66 = 75.

Good luck to me in Phase 2C.

Har....I was hoping not much people apply today.

Why is SMPS so popular this year? If I am not wrong, there's an increase of 15% in take up rate by Phase 2B, as compared to last year.

If the trend continues, those outside 1 km might not stand a chance in Phase 2C.
I was still hoping its like last yr trend then at least have 100 seats available for 2c....I'm out of 2km. Sob sob. Worrying.

Same here. No school within 1km for my dd, only boy schools. Only SCGS n SMPS within 1-2km for my dd. SCGS is definitely out for my girl.

No need to ballot for applicant 1-2km under phase 2c, I hope.

              Really?! That's great!

Congrats! But did the school explain the reason being? Twins?

How so? Unless someone pulled out, balloting will be needed just to determine if the twin will should take a place from Phase 2B or 2C, or not at all.

PS. Wait. The number 48 already includes the twin. Since there are only 47 places, one of the twins should be counted, so the other twin automatically gets in. Extra place taken from Phase 2C. QED.

Do u happen to know what's the breakdown for last yr 2c
In terms of 1km, 1-2km and more than 2km who balloted.
I want to know how many vacancies left for those more than 2km who balloted. Applicant vs seats left for balloting.
