Hi my daughter registered in SCGS IP today. we did choose Chinese special program as 3rd language. she has been allocated to Changkat Changi secondary school for that very far from us( We live in CCK). I called school, they asked me to appeal to moe … any one know any school in west or North offer Chinese special program or any advice?

Hi, very few schools offer CSP. You can write to MOE to get her transfer to Clementi Town Sec School. Please see the attached link:

Hello people, Clementi Town sec school and SCGS IP are two very different world

Is Csp that important that you want to give up SCGS ip and willing to transfer to CTSS

sorry I must say this - use your head a bit[/quote] We will ask transfer for Csp only from changkat changi secondary school to clementi which is twice a week two hours program. my DS has to travel all the way from SCGS to changi twice weeks. Thanks a lot for ur concern.

only two school have Csp, in east changkat changi and west clementi town. So Clementi town will be convenient for us.

My daughter also has taken Chinese special program as 3rd language. She got Clementi Town Secondary School to study Chinese .

Is there any disadvantages in not taking third language? Will it be more stress with the other compulsory subjects. Tks

Take 3rd language only if the child able to cope with the regular curriculum & the 2 standard languages first


If take already -
Those who can’t cope, will drop out later
