        Hi Brenda/Tinkerbelle,

Thanks for asking. He has mild eczema...according to the doctor, she said it's becos someone in the family has sensitive skin or nose. So inherited from me since I have very sensitive nose 😢 and hives which can act up anytime 😢

The doctor is such a sweet lady that my son likes her...also young and pretty lah. :faint:

Oic....DD2 also had eczema but luckily the incidence has reduced significantly after she turned 6. Now, only occasional flare-ups. Dr. also said she inherited it from DH's genes. So DD2 need hydrocortisone cream everytime she flares up. 😢

Hope your DS feels better after applying the new med.

His ecezma only flared up now...never had it before. Doctor prescribed Elomet for this short period but must apply mosturizer after that. I take Zyrtec for my hives when it acts up. Thanks for asking 🙂

            Hi lzxuan,

Doctor prescribed QV. Not bad as it does not leave a slimy feeling.
I’ve seen Cetaphil at Watsons. If it does not leave a slimy feeling, can try it too.

Now after bathing with QV, have to apply QV cream to replendish dry skin.

QV does not work that well for my son, Cetaphil is better. Both without smell. You can get from those cheap shop like Beauty Language or Venus, the big bottle of Cetaphil 16oz only $19.90, QV is slightly cheaper.

Ops, this is Maths thread, shall stop here.

How I help my DS remember when to put eg \"70\" or \"7\" tens or eg \"700\" or \"7\" hundreds, is that whenever he sees the word eg \"tens\", he should place \"10\" above it or eg \"hundreds\", he should place \"100\" above it, so when the whole sentence is read, there should not be a repetition, as in the eg (1) above :

379 can be represented as __________tens.

If \"10\" was placed above the word \"tens\", then the answer would just be \"7\" and not \"70\", as there would already be a \"10\" placed there.

Sorry hope above is clear as set out, difficult to explain properly when put into words!

                      Hi Plum-cake,
My child just learned the above concept in Primary 3.
Sometimes the same key words when used in different context may have different meaning. Hence, the above statements have to be read in whole and not only focus on the few words to be able to understand what the question is asking.
ie \"The digit 7 stands for', is only asking about the value of that digit.
ie '390 can be represented as' is asking how to 're-present' the number 390 in another form'.
                      Not sure if it helps.
