        Hi All

My son and my nephew just started Primary One at St Stephen’s and both were posted to the same class. However, both have informed me that their form teacher is prone to shouting and scolding the students and is very harsh towards the class in general. I know boys can be quite playful but given that this is just the 2nd week of school and the boys are adapting to a new environment, do you think I should have a talk with the form teacher?

This is true for I've seen it myself many times. DS1 is in sec 1 and DS2 is in P6, I've seen this eversince DS1 was in P1. You may want to talk to the teacher and the best time will be next week during meet the parents. After speech given by principal all parents will be led to their son's classroom wher the form teacher will have their talk. That's the best time i would say.

My pleasure... Reason why I mention that is to highlight to teacher next week is because other parents will also be there and that will keep them informed too.

                Hi,

My DS is in P3. All P3 boys will have to go to the swimming programmes this Friday for 6 lessons. Isn’t it wasting of time to go to this programmes if the boys know how to swim already?
