Hi all,
My son will be placed at 1 Opal class next year. How do they randomly place the students in different classes?
I understand that Amethyst is the top class from P3 onwards. -

agnesost:
No, they don't stream lower primary anymore, therefore no specific method of placing in P1. However, coming to mid of P1, kids will be stream for foundation and advance Chinese class. To know where your child stands, find out whether they are top 10% of whole of P1 at the end of the year based on their P1 results. These cream of kids will likely be in P3 1st class provided they maintain in P2.Hi all,

on ‘Holistic Assessment’ on 17 Jan, 7-9pm,
about how kids will be assessed at P1!
KMPS is one of 16 schs to pilot this.
Anyone has further info on this HA thing? -

Top 3 in class does not equate top 10 per cent
in school. You can write to principal to find out, but
please do not expect exact position of ur kids. They
reply yes or no only. As u all noe marks and positioning
quite sensitive now. I emailed school cos merit award need
school endorsement. Fyi -
