        Hi,

My girl is getting transferred to CHIJ Kellock for P2 in 2011. I just bought the uniform and PE attire. Would like to check if the school is strict about shoes with laces or shoes with velcro strap allowed?

          Hi Tinasen,

For P1, canvas shoes with velcro strap is fine. Heard that they prefer the girls to wear shoes with laces when they r older. If u r still unsure, maybe can ring their admin up to confirm.

              Hello everyone,

My only girl is going on P1 to P2 in Kellock. I notice that the school have her bring back lots of enrichment activities brochures when in P1. My older p4 boy in a boy’s school don’t get so much.

Being a P1 girl, she’s like wanting to try, do and have all these stuff … a little bit distracting sometimes.

Is this normal for Kellock and will it continue in P2 onwards? Anyone knows?

              TIA

I agree so many after-school enrichment activities are quite unnecessary at P1-P2. It is quite tiring for the girls, esp in P1, when they are just getting used to longer school days.

You can choose not to sign up for the activities. Although your dd may feel a bit disappointed initially, she will soon forget the feeling. Believe me, you will not deprive her of any \"valuable experience\" in life by not signing up for after-school enrichment activities in P1-P2.
