tinasen:
Thanks for responding. I'll call up general office and find out.

      Hi Tinasen,

For P1, canvas shoes with velcro strap is fine. Heard that they prefer the girls to wear shoes with laces when they r older. If u r still unsure, maybe can ring their admin up to confirm.

      No prob! ๐Ÿ˜‰
My only girl is going on P1 to P2 in Kellock. I notice that the school have her bring back lots of enrichment activities brochures when in P1. My older p4 boy in a boy's school don't get so much.

Being a P1 girl, she's like wanting to try, do and have all these stuff ... a little bit distracting sometimes.

Is this normal for Kellock and will it continue in P2 onwards? Anyone knows?
Yes, this is normal for Kellock. I agree so many after-school enrichment activities are quite unnecessary at P1-P2. It is quite tiring for the girls, esp in P1, when they are just getting used to longer school days.

You can choose not to sign up for the activities. Although your dd may feel a bit disappointed initially, she will soon forget the feeling. Believe me, you will not deprive her of any \"valuable experience\" in life by not signing up for after-school enrichment activities in P1-P2.

                Hi

May I know if a parent is allowed to follow the child on the school bus on the first two days?

                Thanks

Btw, may I also know what time does the children who are taking the school bus usually reach home? I'm very worried that dd will be starving by the time they are released at 1.30pm.

Any advice will be much appreciated ๐Ÿ™‚

                    hi

may i know howโ€™s the traffic like at gate C in the morning? I am thinking of sending my girl to school just slightly before 7 am.

also, i noticed the road is quite narrow to u-turn to gate C. Can do a 3-pt-turn or must i drive round the church?

                    Thanks.

I don't think the parents are allowed on the bus. You may follow the bus in a taxi, though.

She doesn't eat much during her recess (more keen on playing), so she finishes her lunch box on the bus back home. You may want to pack a little something for your child to have after school.
