I'm slowly getting used to php \"shocking\" me with his posts. I'm trying my best to get used to it.
Just to clarify, since markfch was so \"shocked\", you are referring to next year, right?
Jokes aside, it's because I know him & his dd personally that's why I dare to tease him here. I know he won't mind, rite php? :celebrate: -
markfch:

Not this Parent ....
Oh dear, only 8 marks for effort? Hope those kids don't get moralized and their parents don't stress them too much because of this.
Already tell her, just DO your best and No Regret ....
Secretly
Praying Hard she can score enough in her other paper to Pull her Grade up to at least a \"PASS\" Grade .....
This Mummy Got Really \"SUPER-LOW\" Expectation, Right?
Just wonder How their HCL teacher Gonna Answer to the School if Most of her Band 1 Class Got \"Just Pass\" Grade OR :!: \"FAIL\" in SA2 ..... -

Yah, it must be tough if a mum feels that she's closer to one of her kids. Then the guilty feeling may set in and she may wonder whether any of these is due to her own actions. Modern parents are taught to treat all children equally but this is easier said than done, though consciously we all try to be as fair as possible to our kids.
I am VERY guilty of spoonfeeding...my bonding with son emotionally is stronger than daughter, being the first-born and having medical problem...actually lots of mixed feelings although I try not to play favouritism. Both are my children. -
php:
markfch, those CL assessment books out there are too easy based on the level.....this never cross my mind, so happen that E3 highlighted this....haha.....
for some reality check :-markfch:
E3, should i let my dd works on P3/P4 assessment books on Chinese? I hope it wouldn't frighten her away....Comprehension O & E and Composition are always the killing parts......
Hold on a minute, your dd is in P1 and you want to let her do P3/P4 assessments?
You are not frightening her hor. You are frightening us  .
P1 do P4 work, P2 do P5/6 work. Then what's she going to do when she's in P3?
for CL / EL enrichment / tuition, better do one level higher
even for sec school like SMSS, sec 2 uses sec 3 EL etc -

Hi, I remember in Gr2 last year the whole class got band 1 in maths too.
Congrats!Mummy58:
My dd (P2) Maths result was out yeaterday. Teacher told them the whole class got band 1.
Wow...whole class band 1! Which class is this? -
verykiasu2010:
Not only for CL and EL, Math as well. Many kids are scoring for Maths now cos they are more exposed to non-routine questions and most schools are already not setting Math papers at that level in which it was taught.
