I don’t know about SMPS directly, but from another school, letters were given out last week to students who have been selected to go for the next round selection test.
So I think likely that the girls going for the next round have already been informed. Have you asked your daughter whether she’s aware of the teacher giving out letters to some classmates? Or whether her friends in other classes know of it? -
Yes, I’ve asked her and she says nobody has been told anything and nothing has been given out.
-
Maybe call the school then. Round 2 is just one week away only.

Hi Jacsplace
The results are out already on mon, girls who are going on to round 2, were given letter with information. There are a total of 28 girls who are proceeding, all are from Devotion and Charity. -
Apologies, 18 girls not 28.

Thanks ScrappyMemories. My daughter is in Grace so I guess she’s out. I’ll let her know.
Though, I wonder why none of her teachers ever bothered to say anything. Even if they don’t want to write a letter, I’m surprised they don’t announce it in class. -
I think they don’t want to highlight it…in a way, I feel it’s good:-)

hi parents,
can you remember how much was the PTA membership fees? I remembered paying $10 or $20 for annual membership in P1. Can anyone remember if this was compulsory and if we have to join PTA every year? -
It’s not compulsory to join the PTA.
