Hi, I am a new mommy in this forum. My DD from St Elizabeth 1 reminded me yesterday that there will be a Maths Tropical Test 2 next monday on 1st mar. So all mommies do take note.

hi anniekiasung,
welcome onboard...
My DS and another mommy forummer, mvell09's DD also
in 1E.
I'v been into 1E twice and like the feel of their class.
They seem to hv a bond with their form teacher.
Anyway, tks for info on the Topical Test.
And for show & tell, do u hv the two papers which children
from other classes have? the guide paper & a sample of
show & tell? My DS is a playful character in class & I know
his concentration skills are very low....maybe teacher did
hand out those papers for show & tell & my kiddo is not
aware. -

Does anyone know by when do we need to submit the Road Run 2010 card?
Hi circle,star89:
if we are not the one who go around to ask donation, who else? my son not even know what is charity. And at the end i think the parent need to come out pocket money as i really hate to ask donation since young.
Same. I will ask hubby to donate instead.
Think somewhere next week should be fine to submit coz the run
is on 13/3.
I only got the card 3/4 full filled up..... -
Hi baby2momma,
Thanks and yes, I think you are right. The children should have a close bond with their form teacher. I have spoken to her a few times and I find her very kind and helpful. My DD told me she loves her very much and is very happy to be in her class.
And for the show & tell, I don't think I receive the two papers which other children from other class have. My DD will usually hand me whatever she receive after she comes home from school. -
1E - English show and tell, so far didnβt receive any papers. May be different teacher prepare their students differently.

Yeap ! Given on 19Feb as indicated in circular.btw, did any of you donated for the 'ang pow' for
needy students of DLS? -

Yes, I am also a FTWM ... and yes, normal to stay up till past 10pm (doesn't help that I get home late from work sometimes
... ). Its a good thing kids are in pm class this year, next year when they go morning class, I dun noe how to manage helping him with hw/spelling/ε¬ε and still let him go to bed before 10pm!!!
