If u see a pregnant woman waiting outside the De La salle, maybe the woman is me. πŸ˜‰ sometimes i not that honest but i contribute to society in other way πŸ˜› πŸ˜› i mean the birth rate in Singapore

          Anna Ng:
          Just want to share something:

Last few days my son brought back a new pencil case and a box of colour pencil, he claimed that there were gifts from his classmate as my son helping him in the class (My son helps him to find his diary book and water bottles as the classmate lost somewhere). I was so doubts as I not sure whether his words were reliable or not. I worry that he took/steal something not belonging to him. The pencil case is with Ben 10 picture (which is my son favorite show) and seems like not cheap.
I keep asking my son using the hard and soft approach but not able to get the answer. So, I asked the form teacher to help me to investigate. After taking few days, finally this morning I received an email from his form teacher and being told that these were really an appreciated gift from his classmate and the form teacher also commented that my son is kind, honest and helpful in the class. I am so glad to hear that because I always want him to be independent and not always the one who need cares from others and importantly my son did not lie to me.
          Hi Anna,

That's really nice ... *hee* I know what you mean about doubting our own kids. I think we shd be more trusting.

Give your ds an extra hug and kiss for being such a good boy!

Anna, a BIG Well done to your boy. Really happy for you.

Academic is not everything, don’t stress yourself too much. Give yourself sometime and your boy some space to learn things one at a time. What important is must enjoying his learning process. Exam and test are just tools to measure NOt everything.

I agreed with you that academic is not everything as his mother (me) and daddy never scored full mark and no 1 in school. However, so far we enjoy our life and manage to survive in this society.

Thanks for the blessing from mommies here

BTW, yesterday i went through the \"Xin Peng You\" the Chinese magazine with my son and i found some mistakes (the word itself and han yu pin xing) , be careful when you teach your kid.

u wanna keep it as a surprise??? πŸ˜›

yes, academic is not everything & even I myself
