PTL! My boys were offered seats in the school, p4/p2 following a short interview with the VP. 1) Anyone has any idea if they have class chats/ Level chat group?

2) any idea on if the classes are banded? ( From what i know, @ p4 it should be !) Which ones are the banded ones? pm me if not convenient to publish on open forum!

Only P5 onwards it is differentiated. Once you join the class there will be chats. Good luck, new school life!

It would be nice if someone has info/ suggestion.

We are SPR family and lives in Dover Crescent and our daughter is going to be 6 in 2022. We want to send her fairfield methodist primary school since it nearby and very good. We understand that this school is hard to go in. As for PR we would like to know it even possible to get in and school parent volunteer form only mention that this scheme is only applicable if your child is a Singapore Citizen. If she can't get in to the FMPS, there is no other school within 1KM.

Unfortunately, no chance for SPR. Suggest you cast your net wider for schools under 2km

You can consider New Town Primary School, PRs can get in regardless of distance.

Hi! We are exploring transport arrangements to send my kid to a student care center in tiong bahru after school. Just trying my luck to see if anyone’s kid here is going tiong bahru area after school that we can possibly see any pooling of transport arrangements or if anyone has any recommendations for private hire/transport arrangements to do this. I am not affiliated to FMP in any way and from the exchanges on the forum here and there, it seems to be a good school. Is there any parent whom I can connect to to understand the recent situation of FMP? I do live within 1 km of FMP but given that I am not an alumnus, or community leader etc, I guess this puts me at phase 2C?
