      Yali:
just got through the balloting in compassvale today.....very happy abt it. pls advise me if there is any streaming as such & in which level??

      Hello hello! Congratulations first.

      I'm a p6 girl in CVPS!

      Yes, yes. There is streaming.

      p1-No streaming
      p2-No streaming
p3-In my year, top students from p2 allocated to 301 and 309, now its 301 and 302.
p4-Streaming again, based on results from p3.Top pupils in 401 and 402.However, very few from p3 top classes will get streamed out, so basically the same classmates.
p5-Streaming again, this time big difference. Top pupils in 501 and 502. Pupils in 401 who scored badly for exams gets dropped from 501.
p6-No streaming to prevent confusion.Top classes are 601 and 602.

      Any other questions?

Note: The streaming stuff is based on my current knowledge and previous years experience. πŸ™‚

There was another article about him in The Straits Times today too. Well, done, young man! :celebrate:

I don't read the Straits Time, but as far as I know, he is like a celebrity in school. He's indeed a source of inspiration, a living example of \"The sky's the limit\". At least for me.

He didn't give up though he was not chosen to be torchbearer, instead he took an innovative yet innocent way to show his enthusiasm for YOG.
Also an example of how easy it is to show innovation, one of Compassvale's core values. πŸ™‚

My apologies if I offend anyone or if I'm hogging the forum.

Yes he is indeed a source of inspiration.

And am sure u are one capable girl too.
All the best for ur orals next week.
        And the PSLE.

        :celebrate:

            Hi all,

My son got a place in CVPS! Phewww...what a nerve-wreck during balloting!
Received a letter today from the school about the orientation day on 19 Nov @ 3pm. Any idea what's happening on that day?
Will there be any sale of uniforms, textbooks, etc?
When are they gonna give us the booklist? :?

Thanks a lot. How are the teachers there for P1 & P2? Are they strict? Bcz kids are usually very playful until now in K2.
