Hi,
Does anyone done PV last year ?
Can share the details of the interview / kinds of questions expected ?
Thanks, -
Hi all parents, ive just signed up for the PV programme for child born in yr 2011.Im praying so hard to get into the PV as Im staying at punggol.Even though the chances of getting in after PV work are very slim but I still hope to give it a try.
I saw someone posted on the GEP screening test,is it really true that students from other schools can apply as well? -

Yes, my gf's dd got transferred at P3 from another neighbourhood school. My dd also offered a place at P3, but I accepted another school's offer. I think Rosyth don't really see the academic results of the student, they like review the parents' application on First come first serve basis, and at the time of vacancy raised. -

both your dd and your friend's dd are lucky, managed to get offer of Transfer into Rosyth.
What happened was my friend's son turnout different : he waited so long since P1 registration been balloted out from Rosyth at Phase 2C less than 1 km, until P4 currently now, still no offer for Mainstream. Today, after more than 3 years had passed, he's still awaiting. My friend still hoping, for the Transfer offer to come.
He happen to come from a co-ed neighbourhood primary school in the north, where a lot of vacancies left over for Phase 3 (foreigner kids) during P1 registration, his time. After he failed in balloting at Phase 2C (Rosyth) < 1 km, not much choice : not many primary schools left under Phase 2C Supplementary.
Not sure if Rosyth look at the school the child come from.
Then, another case :
another of my friend's daughter left Rosyth at end of P2, got transferred out to another primary school (with affliation).
But, at end of P3, she was offered Gep by MOE, so transferred back by MOE to Rosyth primary for Gep (P4 to P6), as she formerly from Rosyth. If originate from a Gep school, high chance to be posted back to the same school by MOE.
normally, if a pupil had left Rosyth via Transfer out to another school, unlikely for P to take her back, for Mainstream (P4 to P6).
However, since student been offered Gep : become a different new case, since it is MOE who post her back to Rosyth (Gep). -
