Yes keep receiving memo on paying $$. 1E not much home work but DS did alot of writing practices. Think he finished most of his work this week.

I am glad he is adapting well now. Told him to write a date on the remarks he put on the notebook. Now I am not so lost like a week ago. Now he can flip to the note book page and tell what he needs for the next school lesson.

ya tis wk's load seems ok:) but not forgetting we need to revise for them their chinese reading from the textbk.... I am glad my kid is adapting to her SC and sch well.....

I checked wz the teacher. Subscription to "good friend" is compulsory. It’s part of the textbook material. As long as it will be used, I am happy enough. Just fear that some subscription will turn out to be white elephant or merely collecting dust, wasting $.

yesterday’s HW was really alot for our kids. My DS did till the very last part on craft work, conked out in bed before he could finish. I had to help him finish sticking the parts of the frog on the toilet roll. Didn’t even manage to do the CL text revision at all.

i m trying to let her complete her homework fast so that she gets to play abit before bed time..... not easy when they are in the noon session..... but pcs only go single session by 2015/6 haiz......

Seems that our DS and DD have so much to do and preparation for the spelling and the chinese test each week that they don’t even have time for TV and play. My DS started to complain why must he do so much work.

lets continue to encourage our kids... and ourselves..... we can do it... yesterday my gal fell during recess time... bleed on her hand n bruise on her knee.... dunno hw she fell but she said she tripped over a stick:S
luckily her friends accompanied her to the general office for medication.
so i told her... great to have friends around to look after each other:))

Anyone going to check out the enrichment classes in PCS tomorrow or Saturday? Anyone has any idea what is it about? With current amount of HW, shudders to think about more work.
