Marymount Convent has developed girls for DSA admission to SOTA, top girls' sec schools in Singapore over the years according to school sources. It was a matter of planning ahead :boogie: since Marymount has no affiliation but has record of their girls heading to very good sec schools after PSLE.

Also do you have any idea what time does school ends each day for the P1 and P2 girls. I am still thinking if I should pick up my girl from school myself or let her take the school bus as I am worried that she may reach home every night at 8pm or later. :<

Hi, the girls will stay on at the temporary MCS's premise, holding site from mid 2014 to 2015, located at 430 Toa Payoh Lorong 1 S(319759). (Nearest MRT station for the temp location will be Braddell MRT station.) Construction work is on-going at its permanent location (near to Caldecott MRT station) starting next year mid 2014.

Mid 2014, the school will shift to temp location. MCS will be upgraded. Schools hours: Monday to Thursday 12.10pm to 6.30pm. Friday 12.10pm to 5.30pm. Girls have to be in hall by 12pm.

If you are going to drive to fetch your child, do note that there is a long waiting line of cars. The school bus children will have priority to leave MCS in school bus after 6.30pm. After that, cars will be allowed into the school to fetch the child. If you do not want to waste petrol and time waiting in the long queue of cars, head to MCS to fetch your child at about 6.45pm to 6.50pm after the crowd has cleared. There will be teachers around to facilitate dismissal.

Please note that if your child only takes 1 way transport to school by school bus, the driver will deduct $10 off from monthly bus fee. I feel it is more worth it to take 2 ways.

According to the what the principal mentioned in the newsletter, Marymount Convent School was awarded a second niche in the Aesthetics by MOE in recognition for their efforts in their Arts and Aesthetics Education Programmes for all their pupils. With the award, they have more resources to provide their pupils with a deeper learning experience in the Aesthetics.

anyone know if its possible to send DD to good shepherd school care by 7 am then park my car somewhere within the school / kindergarten / chapel / Orange valley aged home compound then i go caldecott mrt to take mrt to work? i work at tai seng area which is served by CC line. any parking spaces available at the above mentioned areas?

If e procedure Nv change, ey will 1st send u back e application form wif confirmation of yur status shown at e bottom of e page.

Then somewhr in oct, there will b an official letter on orientation details (date, time, itinerary, thgs to bring etc).

Followed by another letter (prior to orientation) informing u yur DD's PE house colour (amethyst, ruby, emerald etc) & class name (humility, gratitude, zeal etc). Tis will enable u to buy e correct colour PE tees aft orientation day

I remember phase 2C take up rate was 127 and available vacancies 26. Now the results for School Vacancies by Phases — Phase 2C Supplementary

(as at 6 August 2013), it showed that Marymount Convent take up rate is 128 and available vacancies 25. Strange? Anyone can comment?
