There are conversations going around that a certain Pri 1 class English teacher gave full marks for some children in her class even though some did not score full marks. If this attempt was done by this teacher to motivate the children or to give the impression that her class is strong in English, I feel that the professionalism of this teacher has been compromised and shouldn't round off a child's grading to 100 marks in report book by a difference of a few marks.

I hope what I heard is untrue but if it is really true, I hope something can be done about this by the school because parents are unhappy about this. Some girls are capable of scoring close to or more than 95 marks for English and other English teachers in other classes did not round off the English marks. This is very fair and just.

* Anyone knows next year P1 will be morning or afternoon session?

I also consider to use school bus, we live at kebun baru ang mo kio.
* If anyone knows the school bus contact no, please share
* If also live at kebun baru, can you tell me what time the bus pick up your DD for morning session/afternoon session?

Welcome!

MCS will be morning session for all levels from next year onwards, and it'll be at a holding school just round the corner from 2015 - 2016 end. I don't have the details to the other questions you asked, but I'm sure there'll be mummies here who can help you!

Congrats on making an excellent choice! My DD is thoroughly enjoying herself in MCS and always always says she wants to go to school.

Hi All, Is anyone sending their daughter to MaryMount from Tampines -

it is 13km so wondering how difficult it is for kids. is there any school bus?

I am staying in Tampines and considering
1)Tampines Primary
2)Changkat Primary and
3)Marymount school.
Any suggestion?
