Those of you who want to try your balloting luck at st Hilda primary in phase 2c -
Only one in every 2 kids lucky to get in.
If you fail to ballot into st Hilda, your child will end up in next phase 2c supplementary school.
So while you may want to try your luck at st Hilda, at the same time you must also be mentally prepared to go some other phase 2c supp school.
Last year (2013) -
A few of my friends failed to ballot into st Hilda, at phase 2c.
Now, their kids studying in opera estate primary.
Really keeping my fingers crossed on the balloting. Hope that all will be well and that my Dd will be able to get in. -
If you not sure whether can get in or not -
is best to rent a house first, within 1km from st Hilda.
If can ballot in, then buy a house permanently later.
Many parents adopt this common strategy.
Many parents trying their luck, at balloting into st hilda -

Hello Parents,
I have hear that Gongshang will b shifting to Bedok for renovation to cater for single session. May I know whether does any parents hear of this too? If yes, does anyone knows when will they be converted into single session?
Many thanks!
there is NO shifting of school.
The school want parents to help them stop the spreading of this rumor(s), as some parents had got worried / upset, & been calling up the school now & then over this.
Gongshang primary school administrator had confirmed that :-
There is No plan for the school to shift out of her Tampines Street 42 premises. -
Thanks Phtthp for your confirmation!
Now I am relieved and 100% sure to go for this school!

Heloo! I am also new in this forum, a daddy of a girl born 2009.
I would support registration for P1 for 2009 intake is this year in Jul-Sep right?
I actually live right within 1km of St Hilda, and like everyone here, i would love to place my kid there.
however, i have also shortlisted Poiching as another choice..
I would like to seek advise, should I go for St Hilda's or just skip and go for PoiChing?
I'm afraid that even though I live nearby St Hilda, I might not get the slot and end up in some duno-what school and even lose poiching as a choice.
Looking forward to hearing from all of you! thanks!alice118:
