hi.. I just want to ask, do cf students have a lot of homework? like how much is alot? i heard from others, they said its very tedious to study in cf..

i am considering cf but does not want to bury my son in homeworks and definitely he is not really academic kind... :S

It would depends on which level.. starting from P5, will have more homework.

I still believe CFS has a very system that's why they can produce many good students..

The questions for the exams are tougher. which is ok as your kids will be able to handle the tougher questions in PSLE.

One of the alumni programs that run on sat is Math Olympiad..

I am glad my girls are in CFS.

No regrets in putting my children in Chongfu all these years. I believe in providing a holistic education for our children and Chongfu has the right element in nurturing my children to be who they are.

My gal will need to register next year for Pri, recently just know that being shhk member is not going to help because I am not a volunteer. She has been asking and wanting to be in Chongfu with her cousin. Feeling so lousy now as I also did not register for parent volunteer in Chong fu. And based on have 2c every year will need to ballot. Anybody has any advice on how I can go about?

U can start going for volunteering job in Chong Fu if you have not been to any. It will increase your chance of getting the recommendation letter.

Also, years of membership will be taken into consideration as well when requesting for the letter.

But be prepared that despite going for volunteering, you might not get the recommendation letter.

As there is only 7 months to P1 registration, there really not much choice you have.

                    Hi,

Is there any requirements for the students to know swimming? If yes, what is the min level needed?

                      hi Mandy

Are you referring to the swimsafer programme? If yes, no need swimming knowledge to join. Other than that, my kids who have been in the school for the past years, have never mentioned the need to know how to swim. Last time, the school used to organize the yearly swim meet (to join, you need a minimum level of swimming competency) but that event has been scrapped since the new P joined.
