Hello! Can i check, its mentioned on RGS DSA website:

"…for the talent area ‘Visual Arts’, will be admitted to the school’s Special Art Programme and are required to join the Art Club as their CCA. They will not be allowed to offer Third Language or other Elective Programmes."

May I know what are some of the Elective Programs that these students will not be able to opt for?

You can email RGS to ask. They are in the best position to answer you. In my case I send to
the general email and they will then forward to the relevant department to reply me.

I understand that in Y5, term 1 in RI only starts in Feb. Can I check if they need to return to school in January? Any parents can share the school schedule for Y5 for Jan. Thanks.

Hi! Dd has been offered a CO at RGS at the recent DSA exercise. Can I check with students / parents whose girls are taking SAP (or familiar with SAP):

                    • Apart from the Friday afternoon commitments, what are some of the other activities the girls would be involved in? Are they expected to put up exhibitions / stay back late to work on art projects during the term or holidays?

                    • are there assessments / grades tasks in the SAP?

                    • The school outlines a 4 year program. Will they be allowed to drop SAP in higher years if they choose to take up other academic commitments?

Grateful for any replies and information, apologies if this has been asked before but could not find the info anywhere. Thank you in advance!

Same my girl also got admitted to SAP. Following the thread to learn more.
I also would like to know what’s the school and SAP workload for the children.
Would like to hear from others who have children in this.

                        Hello parents,

My apologies for posting this bus service as we received feedback that many parents cannot find school bus service for their girls.

We are a licence bus transport service provider ferrying Raffles Girls’ School girls since 2017, covering Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Batok, Bukit Timah, Jurong East, Jurong West, Taman Jurong, West Coast, and Clementi.

If you are from other areas, and have a group pooling together, we try our best to help start a new route.

Do contact me by whatsapp 93555056 (Jacob).
