[quote=\"TheAnswer\"]Anyone can share about Empire Tingkat? Is it nice?
Ytd afternoon, I submitted an online order at Empire Food for 1 pax to try out the food, start date 18th March.
Is Empire Tingkat = Empire Food?
I recently ordered a buffet from Mannapot, it came late, reason being this caterer is in Ubi and there was a traffic jam at the expressway.
So when I was checking out tingkat delivery, I chose one located at Woodlands.
I informed my elder boy about the tingkat I am arranging. His first thought: why is mum doing this? -
actually, i am still thinking, isnβt tingkat the same as tapao from outside?

I think tingkat has lower oil and salt content compared to ζε ...if eating on regular basis, the amt of salt, sugar, oil will add up. Honestly fried rice from zi char stalls tastes nice but considering the oil and all other spices used, I would not want to eat frequently. -

For me, it will be the time and hassle saved in going out to buy as I do not drive. -

Tingkat is really convenient...don't even need to go out to buy...meals are delivered to door step...even more wonderful when there are CA/SA round the corner...don't want to waste time going out, finding car park, queuing for food.ter_wen:

Empire called me this afternoon - rejected my order. Reason being they do not deliver to Bt Timah - no enough order to have their delivery come to this area :roll:TheAnswer:

I now wonder what my chances with other tingkat companies are. -

With the MRT tunnelling, Bukit Timah traffic conditions are unpredictable. Sometimes, MacDonald also rejects my order. esp on rainy days.

Likely.
