Run by a full time coach. My kids were there some years back. Like what the other post mention, do check what you really want out of the session.

There's not much of soccer skills to be taught for those p2 and below. The kids at that age usually run after the ball like a herd of elephants. They don't know what is cooperative play and team work. Basically, you don't need a fantastic coach. In fact, fantastic coaches won't want to teach the vey young ones, it's too boring for them.

The problem with finding a soccer school won't come until your kid is much older and quite skillful. You'll then have a hard time finding a good team for him to play with. It's not just the coach then, good coaches cannot tahan a team that's not serious, unless you're talking about a place like JSSL. Over there, you pay much and they'll say a lot of nice encouraging words to your kids. The serious soccer session are very cheap and are actually at the football clubs like SAf Warrior, Home United,etc . For the former, long waiting list so you can start queuing now.

How is Sporting Juniors? Is it cheaper than JSSL?

I like JSSL's setup but I think there are too many kids lumped together of different levels, although they try their best to ensure this doesn't happen.

I disagree a little with the \"not much to teach\" part. Actually, there's a lot of techniques for kids aged 6 and above to learn and yet have fun.

Does anyone know what happen to the 21 skills FAS promised 2 years ago to teach all the COE kids? I'm still waiting for those videos they said they will put on their website.

What makes for a good soccer coach for 9 yr olds? Oops, I accidentally volunteered to be my niece’s soccer coach and the YMCA took me up on my offer. I played when I was young and know the game well but I have never coached before nor been in a teaching position of any kind. Got any tips?

Hi, every weekend i see alot of kids learning soccer at the open field beside Kembangan MRT Station, from my observation i think they are around 3 - 7 . I think it is popular with expat parents and people around the neighbourhood.
