All About Life Without Maids

My husband is a blessing. Very supportive n helps around despite being very busy. Couldn’t have been able to go without a maid without his support.

Angelight:
HI Angelight,After reading your review, I'm tempted to get the roomba too.
But I can't afford to get both the roomba and the scooba. So still have to manually mop the floor after using the roomba?
What about the electricity consumption of the roomba, is it very high?
Suggest between the 2 you get the roomba. If you vacuum often you won't even need a scooba. No need to mop unless you spill something. I have a cat at home so I want the floor to be real clean. I dunno the electricity consumption. But I feel that if we have to spend we have to spend. Have peace of mind that the house is clean. No point tearing our hair out busy with housework and end up screaming at everyone in the house. Get a entry level roomba I heard good reviews from my friend who has used it for a year. -
Is there any white school shoes that do not require weekly washing? I don’t like to wash my kids’ school shoes every Fri. Very lazy.

Hi mamemo,
Hi puff,
Just got a roomba recently and I wonder whether I should leave the charger on 24/7 even when roomba is fully charged? Eg, can I off the charging unit during night time then on again when we leave the house in the morning? Will that help to lengthen the life span of the battery?
Thanks!
I am not too sure if it helps to lengthen the battery life span coz I leave it on 24/7. -

We discovered that white sports shoes are much easier to wash than canvas (Bata) shoes. They do not require whitewashing or much scrubbing. They are more expensive though... -

Just curious about those of you who have no maids, do most your husbands support you for not having maid or would they rather you hire one? I don't have a maid for more than a year now because my kids are in their teens now and i cope quite well in my opinion. But sometimes I wish my husband was more supportive, he still prefers to have a maid.
Never had a live-in maid. Both hubby and I were adamant about it even before we got married. We hire part-time help, though. Coz we both hate cleaning the toilet and ironing! I still do daily cleaning and laundry. hubby will help wash the dishes. -
i have of pple who rinsed n scrub off basic dirt from sch shoes and soak them for a while, then throw into wash mach to wash n they come out so clean n white
