I was wondering when RI will call up the applicants for interview. My DS’s classmates went or GAT, but my DS has not received notificationn for interview. Some classmates who had below 80% still did not receive notice for GAT. Does anyone know if RI would reject GE kids, without even offering them a chance at GAT n interview?

As for ACSI DSA, interview only when necessary, mainly for those borderline case.Blur Dad:

I guess no. All GEPers will be called up for interview. The reason for those who has not received notification for interview or GAT because they have submitted their application at a later date. Some of my DS classmates have not received any news yet. -
Hopefully next week we are able to receive interview notice from RI :roll:

If your nephew is from ACS(P) or ACS(J) or good in sports( must be really good, e.g. top 4 position in national level) stands a higher chance. -
He is not from acs. His cca is tennis but I don’t think he has present school yet. He is p4 this yr.

had there been cases in the past where say, got in RGSS via DSA, but PSLE results eventually din meet minimum COP entry … then how ? withdraw and re-apply to another Secondary school ?

if DSA already offered, there is no COP to meet. usual requirement is just to meet the eligibility to do the course she is admitted to via DSA, which is, express course, and the requirement is usually 200. the COP of 260 or whatever does not apply. else what is the point of doing DSA ??!! -

If a girl has a confirmed DSA offer, all she needs to score in her PSLE is an aggregate that allows her to pursue express stream in the school, ie 200. This is usually not a problem for students.
In the event that the girl scores less than 200, then she will not be granted admission to the school and will have to indicate another school during the S1 Central Posting exercise.
