They don't do a per-subject GPA actually but the guideline is this lah:

Above 85% is 4.3
Above 70% is 4.0

\"A\" and Maybe 1 or a few \"A+\". Average GPA is around 3.2 to 3.5 generally. So 3.8+ is above average lah. Only cannot consider as among top student. Not unusual to have some students who are top in individual subjects among this group too. More indicative to look at their percentile than just GPA I find.

After my last posting, we went ahead to apply to SCGS via Violin for my DD with testimonial from the CCA teacher-in-charge.

Just received email for my DD to participate in their GAT on this Saturday.

Will see how far my DD will progress from here.

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview.

As mentioned on other threads you posted this on, RGS does NOT offer DSA via Dance nor Ballet.

Not indicate any Dance Domain ....

Popular ones will be all the Convents, like St Nic, CHIJ Toa Payoh, St Margarets, ....

It's percentile, not percentage that I was talking about. Eg. you could get 75%, which is an A, but the child is the top student bc the assessments were all very difficult, so his/her percentile would be 100th. I would be happy to see that as opposed to just the raw grade. It's like PSLE, yah?

Generally students with 3.8 to 3.9GPA would have grades all minimum A, so means they have between 70-85% for most of their grades.

[/quote]Certified true copy is not only compiling hard copy to submit. Need to send to your pri sch admin with original copy to stamp and sign. Sometimes, admin will tell you quite some task to do, and to collect another day.

Just a note: better to send in more copies to sign in case of future need, else you need to run again. # of copies should be at least = to number of schools you apply via DSA.
