Don't Worry, Many Fellow Mama And Papa also Waiting for NYGH's ....Wah, this DSA thread moves very fast leh ...
Congratulations to ALL whose DS have received interview notification from RI. All the best!
Now I am the one with long neck waiting for NYGH to call DD up for interview ...
Format the Same, But Paper No Same ....No lah, Funx3, no news on interview from NYGH yet. Just wondering how was the GAT for NYGH. Whether is it same format (non verbal questions) like RGS or is it different.
Do They Release Result so Fast?Funx3:
Any feedback on NYGH GAT on Saturday? Still no news from NYGH re interview ...
My Gal Say at NYGH 1st session, Waited Very Long, for some 3 or 4 who was not there .... almost 40 minutes (Finally started without those absentees ....)
this is a 1 hr GAT test ....
Her RGS GAT test (Last One to be Conducted) will be on Tomorow afternoon, 60Q in 20 min ....
RGS Staff says .... Not the Same, Cannot skip or share results with other GAT tests .... -
I received a call from NYGH on last Friday for my DD to attend violin audition on Wednesday (13 July)β¦ even before the GAT test on Saturday. Is this the normal procedure?

But both are still above 80s and exempted from GAT right ?
My son's P6 SA1 result <75%, took GAT on 8th July and will be attending RI interview on 18th. Dont think it's by alphabetical order either cos his name is S. No point speculating, for all we know, they just draw the names out of a hat... :lol:cylg:
From my own observations thru the posts in this thread, Maybe the interview dates are based on SA1 results. The higher the marks, the earlier the interview dates.
dont think so as my DS classmates whose result lower than his is 1-2 days b4 him leh :scratchhead:
For the presentation, he cant decide between ERP or IVP. He said he is not going to prepare a portfolio cos none of his classmates who have gone for interviews was asked to show it. Will try to persuade him to at least prepare a folder with his certs.
As for the term reports, can we \"forget to bring\"? Dont think the interviewers are interested to know that his handwriting needs improvement (read: horrible and illegible), he lacks focus and is distracted easily (read: troublemaker) for all 3 years in GEP.

Different schools have different procedures. -

Not true. Ds best friend score lower than ds but interview date is 2 days earlier. -

Not unusual. That happened previously too at NYGH where the audition took place before GAT. -

They would be best placed to address the differences among the three schools.
Like the triplets in year 2009 batch of Sec 1s? ;D one in RI, one in HCI, and one in NJC?verykiasu2010:
i know of a few families that deliberately put one son in RI and the other son in HCI .... too bad I do not have another DS .....else do the same....best of both worlds
