tell your DS this :

don't have to be worried about DSA result;

if got CO, good (is a bonus), must work harder to prove worthy of the CO, else people will think it is a fluke;

if don't get CO, doesn't matter, PSLE is still THE one to work towards for, believe in your ability, and work hard to prove it - by doing well, with or without CO .... with good result still can get into RI, only 259 was needed last year.


in RI, everyone is equal, regardless they got in via DSA or S1 posting or GEP; everyone is at the same starting point again.

the CO or t-score is just an entry ticket

DS called to say that postman came and gone and no letter from RI
So far only classmates with >80% SA1 received CO.

There was a mum here whose boy is from GEP and scored 79.xx%. I can’t remember who it is now. Did your son get a CO from RI? Hope he did!
