You guys have very good imagination....haha!MummySTay:
Good Luck to all who applied for ACSI !! My son will be in Year 2 IB next year and he enjoyed every moment of his Year 1. Very good balance between study and project work and sports. Hopefully yr kids won't be same class as Dr. TTan's grandson as he will be Year 1 ACSI next year. Under Pressure boy !
Hahaha...
Agree. Not everyone can take this kind of pressure. Come parent-teacher's meeting, :nailbite:
He's as normal as your next door neighbour's son. He gets along with all his classmates and gets punished too. I don't see his teachers being under pressure too. And no......no bodyguards around...keke.
Yes, agreed. No different from other students. -
ngbrdad:
Yes, but all the 3 sons of Dr T. start with P.Concernedparents:
The boy's father is also Old ACS Boy !
Name starts with P ?
If I am right, he is the son of elder son of Dr T. -

Not everyone is suitable to be a researcher and it can get really boring and lonely at times.
In the medical line it's better to be on the clinical side. -
ngbrdad:
cannot be researcher can be the one ganna researched...also can stay in the lab right :rotflmao:2ppaamm:

Does anyone know if there are any activities (CCA or other school activities) on Saturday for Nanyang Girls ? If yes, what’s the timing like ?
On a normal weekday, what time does the girls get to go home ? -
One parent told me that if kids are sport-DSAed into RI, they will be put under sports class and given easier stuff to study and in Sec 4, they still need to take O level. Can any parent confirm this?
TIA -

Not true. In year 1, they will put only those that are weak in the PSLE result in sports class. I know of sport-DSAed student with high 24x going to normal year 1 class. In RI, there are no O level class. If your result is not good, you have to transfer to another sec. School to take O level. I know a few Year 3 students who have done so.One parent told me that if kids are sport-DSAed into RI, they will be put under sports class and given easier stuff to study and in Sec 4, they still need to take O level. I thought the cut-off was 250 for sports class. Anything above you go to a normal class. And, I don't think the syllabus is different, except that they do not do music and art. I think if you score more than 250, you are not allowed to go to the sports class even if you request.HyperKiasu:
