Either one will do, but you need the original NRIC of both parents.

What happen if both mother and father NRIC address is different? Which one they should reference at?

Thought somewhere that they say will use the father address...although there remains some explanation to be done.

okay, I just went through moe web, never say. But if parents are separated (therefore different address), it would make sense that the address belonging to whoever has custody of the child prevails.

likewise, I recall reading somewhere that father’s address will be used.

Thanks, hquek. How should I put it yeah? We kind of staying half of our time with my mother and also spend another half at our own home, ie. weekends. Distance is not very far away, but then the school distance is critical lah. So, my IC is still at my mum’s place but my husband’s one is at our place. How?

For your info, we must bring father's original NRIC and there's a form we have to fill up under father's name and address and the authorise person in the form mentioned ,the registration person (mostly mother's name )to be filled in too. 😄

Through my experience, we must filled up the forms fast and accurate as they will called your queued number to go into the General Office for registration through their computers. That is the time they asked for my husband original NRIC and the forms that we had filled up.

My hands feels numbed at that moment that I can't hardly write properly ,your brain like jammed when filling up the forms especially at that moments you see a lot of parents keep coming in and the staffs calling quite a fast pace of the queued number. :?: :nailbite:

If the parents are divorced, it's understood that address shown on their ICs will be different. But what is the reason that both parents have to show ICs at time of registration ??

                        sc88,
My fingers were numb when we registered son for P1 then...told hubby I can't fill up the form and he better fill up in case I wrote something wrong out of nervousness. Stress just filling up forms :?:
