      The addition of black beans and some red dates helps to sweeten the soup.

        this time, i added some huai shan, bei qi, and wolfberries....
        remove red dates fr my usual recipe as my gal feels \"heaty\" recently.

                    DH is recovering from painful shoulder injury (adhesive capsulitis) ...
