Too far to think about these number game. If your DD/DS is good in languages, ready to work hard, 'O' level 8 subjects should not be so much problem.

foreign lang can only count as 1 of the R5 subjects not as a bonus point. Max bonus point is 4, as wat cjs said. You get to minus 2 points only if you score a1-c6 in both HCL and EL.

May I ask the 6 subjects that the points that calculated for JC must be based on 1 language & 5 other subjects ?

That means if you get A1 in English & A1 in Chinese, you can only use one of them ?

L1 refers to either English or Higher Chinese. Express Chinese can be used as one of the R5 subjects if I'm not wrong.


I thought 2 bonus points is for HCL as long as you obtain C grade and above ? :?
