        qms:
In addition to the free set of uniform (PE), they will give existing LV@NUS parents $100 worth of enrichment program vouchers, perhaps to placate parents for their refusal to waive the registration fee.

Their enrichment program not cheap lor, range from $250-$350 for 10 sessions. Current enrichment at LV like gym, ballet, is less than $20 per session, the most expensive MIM is also $26 per session.

Yes, that's right! Another consideration. Sigh! Why so complicating!!! :stupid: Must complain to NUS. If they hadn't awarded the management of the childcare centre to LSH, nothing like this would happen. :siao:

          Hi lzxuan!

On a different topic. Which primary school are you \"eyeing\" for your girl?

Aiyo, this one hor long story. Has been accepted by NHPS as PV, worked 16 hours since March then no news liao. Not sure can complete by June next year not. šŸ˜ž But we do not stay <2km within NHPS lor, so if suey suey need to ballot, end of story. Backup plan is Jurong Primary.

How about you? Your girl will same school as your son? Where do you stay?

                hi ixzuan,

I'll message you once i reach ok
Are both of u staying at the west side? For my area Pasir Panjang KeLian .. don have any pri school which is within 2KM.
My friend whose son is the same age as mine bought a condo within 2km from NHPS. So that he can send his son to that school.
I heard my friend who is teaching in Rulang Pri said that this school is not bad šŸ™‚

Wah! Nan Hua! Heard that it's not easy to be selected as PV of NHPS. So, you must belong those elite team. :celebrate:

Have you tried calling them up for more assignments?

Yes, my girl will go to the same school as her brother. She will be going to Radin Mas Pri Sch.

If you can get your girl in to NHPS, it will be easy for the other two when the time comes for their registration.

                    Hi Fion!

I stay in the Bukit Merah area. There is no really outstanding school in the area. But, never mind, we managed to get our boy into a school that is within 1 km of our house after balloting. So, our girl will go to that school, too. Thank goodness we don't have to go through this again! It is really, really stressful. :torchme: šŸ˜ž

So, maybe you should start thinking where you want to send your boy to after you settle down on the childcare issue.

Not surprising at all. Many people do that. Some even went further (not in terms of distance, though, but in terms of ways).....

Yes, this school is very, very popular in Jurong West area. Registration will be competitive, too. You may like to look at the balloting history of the schools around your area in this http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewforum.php?f=5.

Our first proposal being rejected, luckily 2nd proposal is accepted. I emailed to the principal every 1-2 months, no reply. Yesterday I called up, they said their principal is going to other school, asked me to contact VP instead. :whut:
