Changes In Children

So glad for your son and you that he has this teacher. Can PM me her name? I can watch out for her, hehe.I met so many hopeless educators, I would have eaten some of them alive! But this week, one particular teacher changed my view completely. From our school lah. I really thought she has really done much to help the kids and she is there for them. Now I have a slightly different view.
Yes, majority still suck, but that one or two really makes this world such a better place for our kids.
This P1 teacher, aiyo. Suffice to say, I was direct and effective, and now she knows I know and she knows I won't hesitate. So in the last couple of days, it's been a sea-change, hurrah!! I actually wrote her a thank you note on Friday because of her efforts . But like my son says, she'll probably revert when he leaves. -
Blobbi, PM you her name already. In my about 10 years of dealing with this generation of school teachers and principals from a parent’s point of view. Never met a more understanding and proactive teacher.

Heard from the news on radio this morning, a country (cannot hear clearly which country) is introducing and selling small size condoms for age 12 to 14. I hope this would not be introduced here.

:faint: I hope there's no NEED.

Switzerland...I also think this is way crap....

Yep, fodder for another thread but won't a parent teach abstinence :?
-
You are right. abstinence is no longer exercise greatly in family values today.
Everyone is talking about ‘Just do it!’
Maybe apart from athletes or musicians less and less people exercise abstinence anymore… -
Bear.w.me, hows your girl doing so far? Any improvement?

How can this be legal? I thought having sex under 14 is illegal? :? -

Thanks Daisyt for the concern. I deliberately slacken down my part and allowed her more space on her own. She is less nervous towards PSLE because she starts seeing school counsellor for some advice and that helps a bit.
We met the teacher for the CA1 results review recently...the teacher found that she has phobia towards higher order questions...wow that really caught us in a fix.
Anyway, i think no choice but to step up the accelerator and hope that the pedal won't get jam and causing un-desirable results. I can only cross my fingers and get the best results out of what time there is left for my child to prepare herself.
