but there are other tuition centres which can provide better quality ones.
Can share the names of these centres? Many thanks in advance. -

has anyone heard of raffleseduhub? they are quite low profile but i think they do have quite structured lesson plans...
actually other 'low profile' tuition centres are worth a try if their materials are good

Hi pixiedust,I hestitate to comment about Mind Stretcher because I don't have first hand experience. However, there is a Mind Stretcher near my place and I've asked friends and neighbours. No one gave very good reviews. Mostly, it still depends on luck and teacher assigned. One friend was particularly upset as the center did not handle her queries related to courses for GEP students (which the center runs) well.
I am also interested to know your experience with Science Buddies.
I am helping a friend to ask, she also has a Mind Stretcher near her place but so far, she does not know if she should sign up. Can I check with you about your friends and neighbours comments? So far, no one had good reviews? Can you elaborate on what they said? Tks! -
Generally, Mind Stretcher is supposedly to offer quality programme and also one of the few centers that has classes for GEP students.
My neighbour’s 2010 P5 attended English lessons for 1 year but she will be pulling him. She says after 1 year she still don’t see any improvement in his English or result and it is a waste of time and money. She is switching to another center.
Another neighbour’s also P5 attends Science. I can’t remember what she said but after 2 terms, she switched to Learning Lab which she says is very good.
One other friend told me there are some good teachers in Mind Stretcher but not all.
Hope this helps. Above are all heresay, not my personal opinion or experience. -

I just remember there is a small centre along Chun Tin Rd. I made some enquiries a few years ago- also conducts hands-on experiments coupled with thinking worksheets. Not too sure if this centre is still there. Anyone familiar with this particular centre?

My eldest son was with Science Buddies for their P6 Science lessons. He was there for the last few months before PSLE. That was 3 years ago. He told me the questions there were not exactly that challenging for him.
Now my second one is going to be P5 next year, gearing him to the PSLE mode. I am also looking around for some quality programme for him.
Just read the thread below about their ScienceQuest programme. They also incorporate Concept Map to their programme. They have put up a student concept map in the thread. I found it rather impressive. Perhaps worth exploring.

Anyone know any good science tuition centre at Seng Kang/Hougang/Serangoon area? I need one desperately for my daughter.
