Hi,
is it too late to send my DD (just turn 3 last month) to SM class? There are so many type of enrichment class, e.g. English, Math, CL... so must see which one should learn first, as it involve a lot of $$$....
I am now thinking send her to SM class 1st or Phonic is more important? She is already in full day childcare.
Anyone pls share your thoughts... Thanks
Hi Dear,
According Professor Makoto Shichida the first thing a child should learn is VOCABULARY.
I would recommend you send your child to shichida. But,
Before you decide, you should get this FREE ebook from http://www.rightbraineducationshop.com.
It tells you more about Shichida and other topic you need to teach your child.

Thanks smurfymum for your comments. Can u elaborate a little more? Like how have your son benefited from MLG? What activities they do etc. Thanks!Hi
My son has been attending Mylittlegneius (MLG) in hougang since for 1 year already. He absolutely loved the program. Enjoys going there. -
Hi singsongcity,
My son attended MLG when he was 11 months old. He has been attending for 4 terms already. Initially, he was crawling around but after a while, he more or less settled down and can see that he is enjoying the lessons. The teachers there are lively and encouraging. The lessons are bilingual. One week is in Mandarian and the next in English. Thats what I like as kids I believe need to be immensed in the language to learn the language. They do things like memory training, flashcards, pretend play, early reading, songs and many more activities. Very fast pace which is good as it attracted attention of my son. One very obvious benefits I noticed is that he can recognise words (both english and chinese words) from their early reading part this year. He started to read some of these words when I show him the words which is very amazing! He also enjoys the memory training part and is quite good at it now although it take him a while to understand what is happening. -
Rei Yan:
Hi,Hello, can anyone advise me on whether to send my son to right brain tots in punggol or my little genius in kovan?
I understand that MLG was formerly little neuro tree which in turn was evolved from shichida while RBT's teachers were the pioneer batch in shichida. Has anyone attended lessons at these two schools? I don't wish to spend too much $$ on trial lessons. Kindly advise if you know these two schools, thanks!
My son has not attended rightbraintots but has been attending mylittlegenius since last year. He is now 3 years old. I like mylittlegenius and it has been very good for my son. He enjoys it and always look forward to it. Teachers are friendly and caring. -

Anyone has any comments on mylittlegenius in kovan? thinking of sending my son there.
Hi,
I would recommended mlg. Son attending since last april I think. He loved story memory and is good at it. They have science experiment for 3 years old and he especially loved the science experiment part and sometimes he would want to do some of the easier science at home! Think is very good for him as it bring out his interest in science. Good for him but sometimes tirring for us as got to bring him there and attend with him everyweek. -

Thanks for telling me more about mlg. You must be very proud that your son can recognise words at such a young age! Can he read the words also? Both chinese and english words? Do you have to practise at home? Sorry for so many questions as want to make sure it is a good place to send to and can really benefit from it. Thanks! -

Of course, got to practise at home also. Anyway, being \"forced\" to bring him to mlg and attend class with him is a good way to bond with him. If not sometimes just too tired to play and bond with my son if there is nothing to \"force\" me. -
Hi fellow kiasuparents,
Been reading up on right brain training for kids. I also have been researching on right brain training schools. Have narrow it down to shichida and mylittlegenius. My boy is now 2 years old. Any parents who has attended both to share experiences and which school is better and also more value for money? From what I had gathered so far, SM is more expansive but is more established and MLG is cheaper but its history is not as long. Seems like both doing similar things. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
